Rae Parry Bio & Gallery

Rae Parry has been lampworking for about 6 years now. She was initially taught by Leah Duperrealt at Bavin Glassworks in Invermere, British Columbia. Once she started beading, there was no stopping her, which fortunately led her to Tiffany House where she has been teaching Beginner Bead Making for the last 3 years.

Rae had the fascinating opportunity to travel to Italy and be taught under Larry Brickman, a well known lampworker from the U.S., known for his work with dots. As well, she has toured the famous glass shops on Murano Island while in Venice.

Glass has surely become her passion with no end in sight — Every day at the torch is a new adventure which she's excited to be able to share with you. Rae has a home studio which her husband, Gord, set up for her, allowing her to bring her ideas to life at any time, day or night. When she's not beading you can find her on the golf course or just hanging out with Gord and Stella, her very loved and spoiled  golden retriever.
